2nd Debate research

  • For younger children
    • Kids go to school for at least six hours of the day.
    • Our intended goals for our young children is to make sure they get an education but are also having fun and having a great childhood experience
    • Young kids are busy and they shouldn’t be busy with homework, that's just the way children are. Younger kids need chances to play
    • Giving homework is only adding extra time outside of school and it is a little too much for going to school for six hours
    • The kids should be able to learn a lot in six hours if they being taught in the proper system
  • Older children
    • Older students are busier than younger ones.
    • Many like to involve themselves with sports, clubs or any extracurricular activity of some sort
  • Parents helping with homework
    • The teachers are the ones giving the homework and they are the ones that understand what needs to be done for the assignment that they gave out.
    • Most parents are years out of school because they are grown adults and have jobs, you can be lucky by having a parent who is a teacher for math, english or any other subject, but the problem is not everyone’s parent is a teacher.
    • Enforcing homework and relying on the parents to be the practitioner can cause problems simply because teachers could have different agenda’s
